Dr. Jauregui is Senior Manager of Public Policy at Subject. She has worked as an educator in highly diverse, multilingual, Title I schools in California and Texas. In 2014, she was awarded a fellowship from the National Head Start Association (NHSA) in Washington, D.C.. She was the recipient of the CEEL Ed.D. Fellowship (2017-2021), supporting research that focused on state- and district-level accountability for English Learners. Her research interests include the intersectionality and impact of education policies on historically marginalized students and their families.
