Martha Zalik Is a Dual Language Immersion teacher at Valle Vista Elementary located in the Chula Vista Elementary School District. She has been certified through California Association for Bilingual Education (CABE) and Systema Educativo Estatal (SEE Binational OCDE Project GLAD). She is currently teaching 2nd grade Dual Immersion Spanish and has taught for over 26 years in all elementary school grade levels. As an educator, Martha has made it her passion to provide students with rigorous scaffolding techniques and ensure that all students have access to the core. Through the use of GLAD strategies, students gain numerous opportunities to access multidisciplinary curriculum that adheres to all modalities.
