Jessica Garcia is a Dual Language Immersion teacher at Valley Vista Elementary School located in the Chula Vista Elementary School District. She has been certified through California Association for Bilingual Education (CABE) and Sistema Educativo Estatal (SEE) Binational OCDE Project GLAD. She is currently teaching Second Grade Dual Immersion Spanish and has taught for over 12 years in K-6. As an educator, Jessica has made it her passion to provide students with rigorous scaffolding techniques to ensure that all students have access to the core. Through the use of GLAD strategies students gain numerous opportunities to access multidisciplinary curriculum that adheres to all modalities.
