Dr. Alma Castro is a School Board Member for Lynwood Unified School District and the Director of the Multilingual California Project at the California Association for Bilingual Education (CABE). She oversees a statewide EWIG grant from the California Department of Education with the goal of implementing the English Learner Roadmap State Policy. Dr. Castro has committed her educator journey of twenty years to serving as a K-12 public school teacher and school administrator. She has served as an adjunct professor for CSULB and the SDSU College of Education teaching master-level courses for teacher preparation programs.
