This session will present critical research and policy for effective Dual Language Education programs that are designed to address the needs and honor the assets of language-minoritized and racialized bilingual communities. The presentation will discuss the current state of knowledge with a focus on an overview of trends, issues, contemporary research, best practices, and future directions in Dual Language Education.
