This session focuses on an equity-centered, culturally and linguistically responsive K-12 instructional literacy approach. The San Diego County Office of Education’s Writing Redesigned for Innovative Teaching and Equity (WRITE), a national academic excellence model for professional development, supports schools and districts to implement this approach to prepare students for college, career, and civic participation.
