With careful planning and intentionality, new barriers and stressors for English Learners and their families can be overcome by leveraging existing school-family partnerships. In this session, teachers will learn strategies designed to engage families in meaningful dialogue and goal setting, provide instruction with flexibility for families, and create a culturally responsive and sustaining community with the virtual classroom. Let's seize this opportunity to fortify the foundation of school-family relationships that can endure long after the pandemic ends!
