The Los Angeles County Office of Education, San Luis Obispo County Office of Education, and California State Polytechnic University will share their journey and collaborative efforts to prepare California teachers for bilingual authorizations under grant funding from the California Department of Education authorized under AB 99. Partnerships established between and across K-12 districts, county offices of education, and higher educational institutions will be shared. Future implications for this type of successful collaboration will be discussed.
