This workshop will explore the transformative power of poetry to promote creative expression and spark the imagination to engage and inspire dual language students to become more confident readers and speakers. Attendees will view students performing poetry and learn a variety of ways to read and perform poems with students. Bilingual poems along with research-based strategies and resources will be provided to explore and put into action the power of poetry.
