Participants will be informed of what a linguistic peer mentor program is and how it efficiently supplements ELD classroom instruction for emerging and expanding English Learners. The presentation will inform participants of the linguistic, social and pedagogical advantages of the program for both linguistic peer mentors and mentees. The participants will be given all of the information needed to develop and implement a linguistic peer mentoring program at their own school sites or virtually.
