K-2 Guided Reading in Spanish: The Essentials

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Feedback form is now closed.

Is guided reading the same in English and Spanish? Join us to discuss how the similarities and differences between both languages impact our students and how to enhance their metalinguistic awareness. Emerging bilinguals need to be explicitly taught to use their cross-linguistic repertoire; guided reading is the perfect tool to accomplish this. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of the essential components of a guided reading lesson in Spanish. Digital access will be provided.
