This presentation explains the principles of Changemaking and how to design instruction that develops students as leaders who believe they can change what “hurts their hearts”. Presenter will share examples of lessons and projects in K-12 on learning about empathy for others and engaging in the process of identifying and addressing real world problems. Attendees will participate in brainstorming Changemaking instruction that is aligned to standards. Information about a variety of resources will be provided.
