A vital aspect to thriving schools is parent engagement. Oftentimes, parents are an underutilized resource of talent, knowledge, and connections. In dual language programs that require specific support towards program goals, empowering parents with information and providing ways to get involved is key. This session will highlight how one district prioritizes parent engagement and how one particular school with four dual immersion programs partners closely with parents, maximizing language learning and cultural experiences.
