Angelica Hurtado currently serves as Program Manager of Multilingual Education for San Bernardino County Superintendent of Schools. She has been in bilingual education for over 25 years and has taught in bilingual classrooms K-6. In addition, Angelica has served as a bilingual Beginning Teacher Support and Assessment (BTSA) Support Provider, English Learner Programs District Coordinator, Elementary School Principal, and Director of State and Federal Programs. Angelica has been a California Association of Bilingual Education (CABE) member throughout her education career. She helped establish the local CABE Chapter in San Bernardino where she is currently vice president. She proudly serves 33 districts in San Bernardino County in the implementation and development of their multilingual programs. She is a champion and advocate for English learners and multilingual students in hopes of helping them achieve success in a global economy. She’s a servant leader that enjoys uplifting others and networking with colleagues.
